Fun Shoot

To celebrate fellowship with others members of Post 1980, we will periodically have a "Fun Shoot" (actually, various targets) in the Pike National Forest north of Woodland Park.  A map to the "shoot" location is included below.  Please join us for a shootin' good time!!!

The next fun-shoot is Saturday, August 21st, 9am-noon. This will be followed by our Post Family Picnic, Cookout, and Campout at the Red Rocks Group Campground beginning at 2PM on Saturday and continuing until noon (if so desired) on Monday.  Our actual cookout and picnic will be at 5PM on Saturday.  Members are welcome to bring their campers or tents and spend a couple of nights courtesy of the Post.

Bring a Friend and/or Family Member -- no small children please.

Some will meet for breakfast at the SmokeHouse in Woodland Park at 7:15am.

  Open Shooting, SHOTGUN, AND 22 cal.  No alcohol.  See you all there.  Bring your guns and some ammo and snacks, plus any desired drinks.   Cost:  $10/person.  Cost includes shotgun shells, 22 shells, and skeet.   Any leftover funds go to the Post 1980 Woodland Park High School Scholarship (a very good cause).
